and when i hear these guys talking about the obama girls being somehow food for discussion here, let's talk about their safety as some joke line. but then, talking about this guy saying the president reminds him of sadhamhusein. and we were oh, my god, that kid is skacared to death of this gu. he's comparing what obama did today to that. that takes a sick kind of connection to do that. >> he basically accused janet reno and bill clinton of murdering people merely to further his assault gun ban. >> explain how that would work? here's the question. wait a minute. how do you organize -- >> you don't want to follow. >> how do you organize branch davidion? to come up with the idea he justified the raids because he wanted to come out against gun control. >> he said the president wanted them dead because they liked their guns. you can't go down that path. >> the people who believe that you lost them. you lost them there. >> what about militia members after those two guys were executed? one of them was. the other in jail for life. but the bureaucrats are dead because the people, just workers f

let's talk a bit more on the politics here of gun control. listen, what president obama proposed is sweeping and it's huge. the conversation now is what can actually get passed? give us a sense of what measures go passed? >> very little can get passed in the next couple of years. there's no doubt it's an emotionally charge issue. the polling numbers show that there does seem to be some movement at the public at large. but in congress there's simply is not. particularly among republicans and house republicans specifically. you talk to these members. teen moderate members in suburban districts even those in the northeast. they hear very little from their constituents in terms of stricter gun laws. i don't think there's any appetite among republicans to bring a bill to the floor in the house. >> so why do this then? you know, you have john boehner speaker of the house saying it's the senate's job and joe scarborough talks about how the nra being on the fringe now and the republicans are up against it in terms of an identity in their party. is th

but with the vice president and certainly president obama with their strength of the office and going around the country and talking to americans which basically agree with the president, it's going to be up to the people across the country to talk to their members of congress to make sure that we and get this done. this can save lives. we've saw that. when the large magazine clips, which i've been reintroducing ever since 204, when that ban was in place, we did not see these magazines out on the streets. and they were very expensive because they were rare. we can do that again to cut that down. we're not going to be taking away anyone's right to own a gun. the supreme court already did that. but with the president laying out what he did, in a very holistic way, by the way, by working with our schools, making sure we have community policing, have psychologists. it's going to be up to the schools to make the decision on what they want, but we should be there to help them. ifwe can't protect our children from school or someone going to the movies, i think that has hit the heart of every
